To meet the expanding needs of our drug development programs, Pfizer is seeking a motivated, detail-orientated, collaborative, organized, and flexible Senior Associate Scientist to support our efforts to develop oncology drugs. The successful candidate will have a strong scientific background, thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment, and have an ability to work with a cross-functional team to investigate novel therapeutic targets in the areas of cancer biology and/or immunotherapy.How You Will Achieve It

Apply immunological, cellular, and/or molecular biology laboratory techniques to discovery research projects in the areas of cancer biology and immunotherapyExecute molecular and cell-based methodologies including multicolor flow cytometry, cytotoxicity assays, and biochemistry-based assays such as ELISA and western blottingQualifications

Must-Have

BS or MS degree in Immunology, Cancer, Cellular, or Molecular Biology, or related field with 3+ or 2+ years, respectively, of experience in an immunology or cancer cell biology labExperience with mammalian cell cultureFamiliarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and analytical (Prism, FlowJo) software programsAbility to perform and interpret experiments with some guidanceDetail-orientated person with strong organizational skills and ability to multitaskExcellent written/oral communication skillsNice-to-Have

Prior experience in a drug discovery environment (academic or industry)Experience with flow cytometryHands on experience with Hamilton or Tecan robotics or other automated systemsTransfection or transduction methods of exogenous gene expressionEx vivo assays of immune cell quantification and/or activationRelocation support available. Work Location Assignment: On Premise.The annual base salary for this position ranges from $64,600.00 to $107,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
