Are you passionate about driving impactful fundraising initiatives and building lasting relationships with donors? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Development & Donor Relations Director to lead our client's fundraising efforts and elevate their foundation's mission. In this pivotal role, you will strategize and manage all aspects of fundraising, including annual funds, planned giving, major gifts, and corporate contributions.

This is a contract-to-hire role.

About the Role:

Fundraising Strategy & Planning: Design and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to attract and engage individual and corporate donors, while retaining current supporters. Collaborate with leadership and volunteers to identify and develop new fundraising opportunities. Manage direct and electronic mail appeals, corporate sponsorships, and special events.

Donor Relations & Stewardship: Cultivate and solicit major and legacy donors, developing a major gift program that aligns with our mission. Create and implement a communication plan to enhance donor engagement and awareness.

Event Planning & Management: Represent the foundation at key meetings and oversee the planning and execution of annual events and activities. Engage with the OMSF Alliance programs and ensure successful event management.

Database Management & Communications: Oversee the Raiser's Edge database for accurate recordkeeping and reporting. Manage third-party software and payment processing systems. Develop marketing and communication materials, ensuring compliance with donor recognition policies.

Bachelor's Degree with 3-7 years of progressive development experienceExperience with an association foundation is desirableCFRE designation is strongly preferredExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Raiser's EdgeAbility to convey the foundation's mission with enthusiasm and passionStrong collaboration and leadership skillsFlexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed, with up to 20% travel requiredRequired Skills:
