You will serve as a strategic partner to the business translating business objectives into marketing plans based on their deep understanding of the customer segments that they represent. This marketing leader will have a strong ability to collaborate, connect, and influence to represent outputs and outcomes of the marketing department to key stakeholders.Key AccountabilitiesServe as primary POC between the Enterprise sales team and the Marketing teamBe a strategic partner, providing customer-centric consulting and leading planning to develop an annual marketing plan and quarterly initiatives aligned to MMS’ overall + segment specific goalsPossess a deep understanding of target customers including characteristics, pain points, behaviors, decision drivers, and buying journey – develop and own the segment level Brand BookConduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends and understand competitive positioningMonitor business performance and develop action plans to address opportunities / shifts in strategyBuild strong relationships with stakeholders across Sales and PSSP to drive the businessImprove effectiveness and ROI of marketing investments through optimization in partnership with the marketing teamIdentify opportunities to innovate and differentiate our value proposition including new products, value-added services, and other aspects of the MMS customer experienceMinimum Requirements7+ years of experience in marketing, communications, product management, and/or brand management. Less years required if has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications.Critical SkillsAbility to engage and influence people across the organizationExcellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to use numbers, data, and visual content to tell a story, influence decision makers, and explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiencesExperience working with senior executives and Sales teamsDemonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills used effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels in a matrixed environment.Demonstrated success in establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships.Strong knowledge of marketing principles and utilizing market research insights to effectively translate market trends and customer needs into actionable resources and tacticsCreativity, innovation, high standards, and attention to detailStrong self-starter mentality, with the ability to proactively generate ideas and drive effortsDemonstrated track record of developing and implementing successful marketing and communications strategies that have effectively engaged stakeholders and promoted a value propositionExperience with Government or Health SystemsExperience working with Large Accounts and ABMEducation4-year degree in business, leadership, or related field preferredWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
