Job Title: Vice President of Children’s Services
Location: Happiness House & CP Rochester – all Children’s programs (Geneva, Canandaigua, CP Rochester, Golisano Autism Center)
Salary:
$80,000-$90,000 per year$90,000-$100,000 per year with Administration Degree for an Education Setting
Employment:
Full Time/12 Month (37.5 hours per week), Monday through Friday during business hours. Evening work may be required as job duties demand.
Summary/Objective:
The Vice President of Children’s Services provides effective leadership and oversight to Children’s Services ensuring compliance with oversight agencies, internal policies and procedures, provision of outstanding services to the individuals served and fiscal compliance. Directs the director-level program team to ensure programs are operating consistently and efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in clinical, educational or health related field. MS/MA preferred.
Administration degree for an educational setting preferred.
Five years of successful supervisory experience in a related field.
Prior direct experience in the provision of health or human services to persons with disabilities.
Knowledge of CSE, CPSE and early intervention systems.
Demonstrated organizational, communication, team building and fiscal management skills.
Valid NYS driver’s license.

Responsibilities include:
Imparts agency philosophy of “Equal Opportunity, Independence and Realization of Individual Potential” to children, families, program staff and community resources.
Maintains confidentiality of information relating to individuals and their families in accordance with agency policy.
Provides administrative oversight of all children’s services for CP Rochester and Happiness House, including New Friends Preschool (4410), Special Class, Daycare, Related Services, Early Intervention and UPK.
Provides effective leadership for agency-wide children’s services.
Supervises all services for students ages birth through six years.
Ensures program compliance of children’s program with applicable State and Federal regulations (OCFS, SED, DSS, UPK, and DOH).
Ensures program policies and procedures are current and complying with any updated regulations.
Assures program compliance with HIPPA and Corporate Compliance.
Ensures training curriculum is comprehensive and meets State Education and OCFS requirements.
Establishes positive and effective working relationships with local school districts, municipalities and similar representatives of certifying and/or funding agencies.
Ensures school administration services are consistently provided.
Works effectively with Children’s Program Directors and Educational Coordinators to ensure the premier provision of services for children and adults served by the agencies.
Works collaboratively with Senior Vice President of Operations to ensure consistency in day to day services in children’s programs. Consults with Sr. VP of Operations as needed to address programmatic concerns/needs.
Develops annual budget for Children’s programs in consultation with Sr. Vice President of Operations, COO and CFO.
Designs and implements a staffing ratio that is consistent with the demand for services.
Develops opportunities for new services, sites or programs related to children’s services.
Assists with grant writing or development to support current programming needs or new programming needs.
Provides oversight to Golisano Autism Center to include but not limited to preschool programs and daycare program. Ensures the provision of School Administration services.
Demonstrates leadership through participation in strategic planning activities and ongoing assessment of program and client needs and development of recommended solutions to identified needs.
Participates in conferences, workshops and in-service training as needed or recommended to enhance job skills and personal growth and development.
Adheres to agency’s policies and procedures as well as department guidelines.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Provides direct supervision to the Directors of Children’s Programs, Director of School Psychology and Educational Coordinators.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, internal equity, and location.
