Marrakech is looking for staff to work with our wonderful participants with developmental disabilities, physical, behavioral or other needs in a group home setting. We seek nurturing people who will provide care with respect and dignity as well as promote independence and community integration.Vice President of Residential ServicesThe responsibility of the Vice President is to oversee all service provisions for individuals enrolled in the CLA, ICF and DCF Group Home programs and market the services in an effort to encourage further program growth. This person is responsible for successful person-centered planning. They must be knowledgeable about community resources and is also adept at recognizing and utilizing personal networks. The Vice President will also oversee contracts, billing, and attendance records, and they will ensure regulatory and certification requirementsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned.SUPERVISORYProvides supervision to the Senior Directors Provides supervision and direction to all levels of program management when on-call after business hours.Receives supervision from the Senior Vice President of Program Operations Completes annual staff evaluation for Senior Directors Supervises and trains Senior Directors and House Managers in management, program development, and planning skills through ongoing regular meetings and individual meetingsActs as a liaison with other community agencies, funding sources, and other institutions for CLA and ICF programs
PROGRAM COMPLIANCE AND QUALITY ASSURANCEEnsures that the programs are in compliance with all applicable regulations and certification requirements (CARF, DPH, DDS, DCF, BOE)Conducts frequent, regular visits to program sites to ensure quality provision of services Promotes the integrity of people with disabilities into the most beneficial community based residential settingEnsures all DDS Critical Incidents are submitted to DDS within 1 business day and follow-up forms within 5 business daysEnsures overnight spot checks are scheduled on a quarterly basis for 24/7 program sitesEnsures programs maintain compliance with service documentation requirements for billing purposesEnsures WebResDay attendance is accurate, signed off and is consistent with supporting documentation for CLA individuals by the 5th of each monthEnsures that one time requests and actuals are submitted within designated time frameCommunicates with the business office regarding client funds, program budgets, billing, and other related program financial mattersEstablishes system and tracks data related to referrals, intakes and client satisfactionEnsures that all Individual Service Plans meet applicable regulations and Marrakech policy guidelinesEnsures that all programs operate within their budgetReviews staffing patterns to ensure that all programs are staffed properly according to agreed upon contract agreements between ICF/IID, DDS, and other funding sourcesOversees procedures to accurately account for the provision of supports to each program participant that includes but is not limited to information on attendance, the identified supports provided to the participant and the participant's progress in achieving his/her person-centered goals.Is knowledgeable about individual and program budgetsPrepares program proposals for all new referrals in conjunction with Senior Vice President and/or Chief Business Officer Participates in activities such as resource fairs and special recruitment events in an effort to increase awareness about programs and servicesDevelops relationships with all current and potential referral sources (DDS, DCF, BOE, and private paying families) to increase new referrals and admissions to the program Is knowledgeable of current trends as it relates to individuals with disabilities and other service needs, and acts upon the new trends accordinglyCoordinates the referral and intake process for all referralsWorks with the funding source to ensure adequate services are being received by the individualsDevelops new policies and procedures, and develops systems of quality control and communicationDevelops relationships with other providers and funding sources and networks on new strategies and systems of program development
INDIVIDUAL AND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENTIs knowledgeable about individual and program budgetsPrepares program proposals for all new referrals in conjunction with Senior Vice President and/or Chief Business OfficerParticipates in activities such as resource fairs and special recruitment events in an effort to increase awareness about programs and services
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESParticipates in the hiring of management and staff for all programsProvides on-call support for all responsible programs.Participates on the Human Rights Committee as neededMaintains Medication CertificationCompletes DDS Investigator training course and participates in Investigator pool conducting investigations when needed
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTSQMRP or eligibility for that status. Master's degree in related field and two years related experience, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of program management and supervisory experience. Supervisory. At least two years of experience working with people who have a developmental disability; or 9 years related combined education and experienceValid Connecticut driver's license
SALARY$ 70,000/yr, increases to $75,000/yr after 6 month introductory period
