Position Summary Information
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Oversee the Office of Institutional Research, Effectiveness, and Planning (IREP), providing support for university planning, assessment, and decision making aligned with accreditation standards and state and federal guidelines.
Coordinate the completion of all required state and federal data reports.
Respond to internal and external requests for university data, including ad hoc requests.
Work collaboratively with other university offices to ensure the integrity of data in the university’s data system (Banner).
Develop and implement surveys and analyze data as needed to support university planning, assessment, and other activities.
Coordinate the university’s strategic planning efforts and institutional effectiveness process.
Make modifications to (as needed) and provide governance of assessment planning, outcomes, and reporting processes. Implement additional assessment processes to meet any future demands.
Consult with academic units in developing, measuring, and analyzing both student learning outcomes and performance outcomes as related to the University Strategic Plan.
Coordinate and monitor the IREP website with current data and statistical reports.
Maintain assessment management system (Anthology) user accounts, assist departments with creation of outcomes/objectives, measures and findings; conduct trainings on the system with end users.
Assist with regional and program accreditation efforts.
Support the SACSCOC Accreditation Liaison in data collection, assessment, and reporting for accreditation standards, ensuring compliance with SACSCOC Standards.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field required, Doctorate preferred. Related fields may include Computer Information Systems; Social Sciences Research; Higher Education.
Five years of experience in research, assessment, and strategic planning in higher education or a related field. Experience with SACSCOC preferred.
Experience with Banner preferred.
Salary
Commensurate with experience, qualifications, and university’s resources.

Doctorate preferred.
