Job Summary and QualificationsThe Food and Nutritional Hospitality Associate II acts as a shift lead and representative for the Food and Nutrition Services Department. The main objective is to ensure the flow and accuracy of each meal service.

Duties and Responsibilities

Meal Time and Preparation

Prepare and ensure accuracy of meal tickets; read and understand printed messages regarding patient meals and preferences; ensure patient services area is ready for each meal service; distribute Tally Guide to cooks and Ambassadors; assist with some food preparation as needed; perform tray double checks and allergy checks before carts are delivered to patients; take orders over the phone as needed.

Office Responsibilities

Answer patient and nursing phone calls; check voicemail; use computer to work with applicable programs; file necessary paperwork after shift.

Organization

Adhere to designated Job Flow; maintain organization throughout each shift; keep diet office clean; prioritize tasks as necessary.

Teamwork

Assist other team members with daily tasks; assist managers to ensure efficient operation of the food service department; ask for help when necessary; communicate clearly and effectively.

Job Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.

Education: No degree required.

Must obtain a Food Handler Card within 30 Days of Hire

Applicable work experience preferred.

Food Handlers Permit must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
