Position Summary:
In this role you will design and develop highly engaging front-end experiences that will delight Walmart in-store customers by helping them shop and checkout quickly from their mobile App. You will enhance our capabilities to support continuous integration/continuous deployment, app-automation while championing best practices for software development and operational excellence.About Team:
Our team creates reusable technologies to help with customer acquisition, onboarding, and empowering merchants, while ensuring a seamless experience for both of these stakeholders. We also optimize tariffs and assortment in accordance with Walmart's Everyday Low Cost philosophy. We not only create affordability, but we also deliver customized experiences for customers across all channels - in-store, mobile app, and websites.What you'll do:Design and develop features in the Walmart Shopping App that allow customers to checkout using Scan & GoChampion best practices for software development, automation and operational excellenceLead feature development and guide junior team membersWhat you'll bring:More than 5 years of software development experience delivering mobile applications in the space of retail/e-commerceMastery in Kotlin development in AndroidExperience creating operational dashboards/alarms/data-visualizations using telemetryExperience using mobile automation frameworks to scale testingAbout Walmart Global Tech:
