Job DescriptionDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLead daily huddlesFill in as needed for call-ins, vacations, etc. and relieve individuals for breaksReview recaps and summaries from previous shiftsPerform startup, shutdown, and pre-operational inspectionsCreate and modify daily schedule & manage LOA and absenteeismComplete weekly crewingComplete all assigned PM (Maintenance & sanitation)Understand the discipline policy and be able to issue disciplineResponsible for wearing proper PPE, complying with all safety training, policies, and procedures, and reporting any unsafe safety conditions to a Supervisor/ManagementEffectively communicate verbally and in written formatPromote open communication within the team and to leadershipAssist leadership with employee development through recognition, performance reviews/feedback, coaching, training, and corrective actionWork closely with the Maintenance team to monitor all equipmentPerform daily titrations and ensure chemicals are at the correct concentrationMonitor daily Behavioral Observations of Safety completion and conduct risk assessments with the team when necessaryFoster a safe working environment, immediately communicate and address safety concerns with the entire team, and ensure adherence to safety standardsSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSEnsure documentation completionDaily document review & verificationParticipate and collaborate in meetingsParticipate in the KHMS audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actionsEnsure daily data entry into local and corporate databases, such as OEE, PSS, RSS, MSS, My Program, task listsSOWI, Pre-op Inspection, Performance Monitoring document review and updatesOrdering and receiving of goods, Ariba, SAPTraining Matrix, SchedulingTRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES:Able to train others on all jobs of the teamExecute the training plan for all new employees to the teamEnsure completion of all required compliance training each monthTrain others and fill in for other positions as assignedTrain team members to identify defects, make minor adjustments to equipment, and to assist with startup/changeovers & shutdownsGENERAL/HR/SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform Safety inspectionsUnderstand and know how to do a Gemba walkPerform 5S auditComply with all company policies and general safety rules while performing dutiesPerform other duties incidental to a job as assigned by the supervisorKnow, understand, and comply with Kraft Heinz Environmental PolicyReduce Kraft Heinz's Environmental footprintMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDCandidates must be available to work the third shift, including Sundays, holidays, and plant shutdownsPrior manufacturing experience is preferredSanitation experience: 2 years is preferredKraft Heinz is an equal employment opportunity employer.
