Architectural Designer II (Intermediate Architectural Designer)

who can help contribute to the creative work coming from Studio AR&D Architects. Work tasks will include taking a project from conception through completion with lots of hands-on experience and potential for individual growth.RequirementsMinimum 5-7 years’ experience at an architecture firmBachelor’s degree in Architecture or another related fieldProficiency in AutoCADStrong interest in modern and contemporary architectureAbility to multi-task while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracyReliable transportation to travel to and from job sites upon requestAbility to provide support for tasks required for the successful completion of projects, including processing documents at various jurisdictions to acquire necessary permits.Job Duties include (but are not limited to)Participate in day-to-day project managementProject/construction site visitsMeeting deadlines in a timely mannerCoordinate effectively with engineering and design consultantsPrepare construction drawings for contractors and permit agenciesProcessing of projects at various jurisdictions and acquiring necessary permitsCompiling project specificationsEnsuring all vital information and documentation is recorded and maintainedProvide support for any tasks required for the successful completion of the project, which can include running errandsProvide support for any task required to keep the office running smoothly (i.e., ordering office supplies, ordering material samples, obtaining pricing for materials, maintaining organization of projects, etc.)Personal QualitiesDesire to produce meaningful work; passion is at the heart of our companyAbility to be open-minded, take in different ideas, and encourage teamworkDesire to constantly self-educate and be hands-onAbility to bring creative solutions to our design workNice to haveExperience working on high-end residential architecture, hotel, hospitality, and interior architectureProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Proficiency in Sketchup and EnscapeWhat do we offer?A hands-on creative work environment with colleagues who are passionate, creative, and continuously striving to innovate and improve.
