The SAFFIRE team builds and maintains an exceptionally powerful platform enabling our users to address challenging real-world problems by converting disparate data into actionable information.The team is deeply passionate about its mission and takes tremendous pride in our work. We work directly with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to create actionable intelligence from the massive volumes of Geospatial Intelligence data to give our intel and combat organizations the decision advantage over our near-peer adversaries.The Enterprise Release Train is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled System Architect to provide technical direction on enterprise customer applications.As a System Architect, you will work closely with the Solution Architect, Product Managers, Release Train Engineer, and development teams to determine and communicate the technical solution to meet stakeholder needs.You will work with geographically dispersed stakeholders and development staff while contributing to the identification, assessment, and integration of a wide array of technologies and processes.You will be asked to think creatively when it comes to designing, developing, integrating, and accrediting a wide breadth of commercial offerings and custom software solutions.
Responsibilities:Responsible for defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision for the SAFFIRE Enterprise Release Train to help ensure the Solution under development is fit for its intended purpose, with a heavy emphasis on the User Interface components.Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context.Support the entire product lifecycle to include requirement analysis, technical design, implementation, system integration and test, deployment, and sustainment.Translate customer and user needs into project requirements and ultimately working solutions.
Qualifications:Required:Minimum 10+ years of related work experience creating client-server architectures and using industry proven open-source processes and tools to support a broad set of application development teams.Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance required and preferably a polygraph. A polygraph is not required to start.Experience with technical leadership in a cross-functional, highly collaborative environment across diverse teams.A technical background in Software Development and Cloud Infrastructure, and experience with container technology (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) development and deployment, and DevSecOps pipeline experience with Configuration Management tools (e.g., GitLab, ArgoCD, Helm, Nexus, Grype, etc.).Requires deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience or in lieu of.Desired:Ability to ensure applications are intuitive, effective, and deliver the customer value defined by program management.CompTIA Security+ or similar Information Assurance certification.Experience with ICD 503 Accreditation processes and DoDAF Diagrams and associated tools.
