1/17/2025The Opportunity:CACI's SAFFIRE team is at the forefront of developing and operating state-of-the-art Geospatial Intelligence analysis software. The SAFFIRE team builds and maintains an exceptionally powerful platform enabling our users to address challenging real-world problems by converting disparate data into actionable information. The team is deeply passionate about its mission and takes tremendous pride in our work. We work directly with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to create actionable intelligence from the massive volumes of Geospatial Intelligence data to give our intel and combat organizations the decision advantage over our near-peer adversaries.Responsibilities:Manage SAFFIRE release deliveriesCoordinate across various program-wide release trains to ensure dependencies within releases are identifiedCommunicate to stakeholders both internal and external the status and content of releasesWork with product management team to establish priorities in software development release cyclesLeverage Agile methodologies within the current SAFFIRE Business FrameworkUse Atlassian tool suite to document release notes and dependencies/risks across the programUse Microsoft tool suite to communicate both internally and externally with stakeholders and team membersManage risks and resolve challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedulesPlan release windows and cycles across portfolios and componentsCommunicate crucial release plans and changesMeasure and monitor progress to achieve a timely software release within defined budgetary limits and quality standardsCoordinate processes between different teams (possibly in various locations)Communicate necessary release details to business teamsManage, plan, and negotiate release activitiesInitiate and oversee progressive release processesQualifications:Required:10+ years of experience as a Release Manager or 7+ years with a software engineering degree or equivalentTop Secret or TS/SCI clearance required and preferably a polygraph (not required to start)5+ years in an Agile Development environmentDesired:Experience with Atlassian toolsFocus on tactical and operational plans with short-to mid-term focusExperience communicating with both internal and external customersWhat You Can Expect:A culture of integrity:

The proposed salary range for this position is: $114,600 - 252,100 USD. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
