Starkville, MSCamgian is seeking a Director of Security & Facilities Director to lead and manage the corporate security operations, ensuring the protection and compliance of our company’s facilities, assets, personnel, and information. The director will be responsible for implementing the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met. The successful candidate will interface with all levels of Camgian personnel and government management personnel to ensure contract security compliance with National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Manual 5205.07, Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254) and Program Classification Guides. The position requires a self-motivated candidate that can work in an independent or team environment with minimal direction. The candidate will be required to conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements. The director will oversee all aspects of security governance, including risk assessment, incident response, and security training, while also acting as the primary point of contact for security-related matters with government agencies and internal stakeholders. The candidate must possess the confidence to make critical security decisions concerning high value contracts and to implement security procedures that will prevent unauthorized access to company and government facilities or information. The candidate will also serve as a Facilities Security Officer (FSO).We are looking for a leader who not only understands the importance of security but also embraces innovation. The successful candidate will be proactive in identifying opportunities to automate routine security tasks, streamline compliance processes, and integrate advanced technologies to enhance security operations. This includes automating monitoring, reporting, and incident response activities to increase efficiency and reduce the potential for human error. This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer and be a key contributor to Camgian’s mission to deliver secure, reliable products and services to our customers.Qualifications
Self-starter with ability to work independently, customer service orientatedCommitment to security - creating and delivering the highest value to customersBe able to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operationsProvide clear guidance to company employees, and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriateThorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, other relevant DoD security guidance as well as the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standardsExperience serving as CSSO/CPSOStrong understanding of Physical Security requirements to include collateral Closed Areas and ICD 705 to meet contractual needsThorough understanding of security databases such as JPAS, eQIP, eFCL and ISFDAdminister day-to-day security programs: personnel processing, program reviews, document control system, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, receipt/dispatch/destruction/mail logs, visit certs, etc.Experience creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriateAbility to develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education programStrong communications skills, both oral and writtenMinimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Security (10 years preferred)Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) required Facility Security Officer (FSO) certification with minimum 2 years of experience as an FSOEducation/Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Security Administration or related areaU.S. Citizenship:
United States citizenship is required due to the nature of the security responsibilities and interactions with government agenciesDesired Skills
