This role is part of Enterprise Program Management (EPM), where we provide technical standards, tools, processes, training, and subject matter expertise for product engineering and manufacturing. EPM allows all Blue Origin business units to benefit from commonly used capabilities, hardware, and software and assists business units in identifying, selecting, and training engineers from both inside and outside the organization.
As part of a hardworking team of skilled technicians, you will support the development of electrical power spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of avionics development. This role will support all Blue Origin programs with battery, ultra-capacitor, and high voltage system development testing. To be successful in this safety-critical role, candidates will need to have a fine attention to detail and deep technical understanding. This role is part of the Avionics Center of Excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of overall hands-on electronics experience
Proficiency in performing soldering repairs on harness or CCA assemblies
Basic knowledge of circuit and electronic theory and ability to assemble, test, and diagnose basic electronic circuits.
Proven safety champion: ability to implement and improve safe work practices for high-energy spacecraft system testing
Desire to provide customer-focused support to a diverse group of space power system programs
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications:
Skilled in harness fabrication and rework
Experience with hand soldering and fabrication techniques
2+ years supporting high voltage and energy storage system testing
Ability to inspect circuit board assemblies
Familiarity with battery systems and power electronic circuits
Compensation Range for WA applicants is $29.03-$40.65.
