Providing enterprise virtualized environment (VMWare) support by providing high-end engineering skills to support Windows Servers in operational environmentsSupplying inputs to key project decisions with regard to success criteria for system requirements, design, testing methods, and delivery activitiesActively communicating with key program stakeholders regarding status of activities and potential recommendations for improvement regarding the system design, function and supporting O&M processesProblem solving and troubleshooting issues within deployed systemsServing as key point of contact regarding developing, recommending improvements, implementing and maintaining Windows Active Directory and Group PolicyPatching, applying STIGs and remediating security vulnerabilities on Windows servers and VMWARE workstation imagesPlanning, designing, developing, documenting, and recommending enhancements and modifications to existing systems as well as any new system capability scheduled for developmentWork in an AWS cloud environmentSupporting management activities to include patch management and backups across deployed systemsWorking with other team members to proactively diagnose and resolve complex problemsRequired Qualifications
Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the fields of computer science, computer engineering, or any related field and 5 years of related experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience with Windows Server, Workstation
