Chantilly, VAResponsibilitiesProviding enterprise virtualized environment (VMWare) support by providing high-end engineering skills to support Windows Servers in operational environmentsSupplying inputs to key project decisions with regard to success criteria for system requirements, design, testing methods, and delivery activitiesActively communicating with key program stakeholders regarding status of activities and potential recommendations for improvement regarding the system design, function and supporting O&M processesProblem solving and troubleshooting issues within deployed systemsServing as key point of contact with regard to developing, recommending improvements, implementing and maintaining Windows Active Directory and Group PolicyPatching, applying STIGs and remediating security vulnerabilities on Windows servers and VMWARE workstation imagesPlanning, designing, developing, documenting and recommending enhancements and modifications to existing systems as well as any new system capability scheduled for developmentWork in a AWS cloud environmentSupporting management activities to include patch management and backups across deployed systemsWorking with other team members to proactively diagnose and resolve complex problemsBasic QualificationsRequires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the fields of computer science, computer engineering, or any related field and 5 years of related experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience with Windows Server, Workstation and VMWAREMust possess the required DoD Directive 8570 IAT Level II or higher certificationDemonstrated Technical ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)Minimum of 5 years of Windows scripting and automationExperience with installation and administration of VMWARE WorkstationExperience in cybersecurity and multi-vendor technologies running in the cloudHands on experience implementing and maintaining enterprise applicationsPreferred QualificationsHands-on experience with Windows Server and Workstation operating systems in addition to virtualization technologies such as VMwareHands-on Windows engineering: designing, building and troubleshooting experienceExperience applying and working with Windows Group Policy Objectives (GPOs)Experience with various security tools, such as Nessus, HBSS, Splunk, etcExperience working with Windows Domain structuresSystems integration and troubleshooting experienceBuild and configuration management experience to include Patch Management experienceCreative problem solvingAbility to remain on task, be self-motivated, and be a strong communicatorMcIntire Solutions, LLC is a veteran owned small business based in Northern Virginia and provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
