This person would work with a team that creates high-visibility 3-D Maintenance and Operator training software for DDG-51 (all flights), LHD-1, LHD-8, and LCS class ships using Unreal Engine versions 3-5 and Visual Studio C++/C#. This person should have a good understanding of the requirements, design, implementation, and testing phases of software engineering for software development.Responsibilities
Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software and systems with logical and mathematical solutions.Determines software and system requirements; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems related to program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops utility programs using C++/C# in a Visual Studio Environment.Some mechanical/electrical experience is a plus.Ensures software standards are met.Minimum Qualifications
• 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.Preferred Requirements
