Nexxt Spine LLC, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking an accomplished and strategic Director of Human Resources to join our executive team. As the Director of Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in aligning our HR strategy with the company’s overall business objectives. You will oversee all human resources functions, driving talent acquisition, organizational development, employee engagement, compliance, and leadership initiatives that support our growth and success.
Position Summary:
The Director of Human Resources will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies that attract, retain, and engage top talent while promoting a high-performance culture. This role will be instrumental in driving business results through HR best practices and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership for all HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development
Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and company growth
Oversee recruitment efforts, ensuring the acquisition of high-caliber talent that aligns with company values and goals
Develop and lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture
Manage executive-level HR matters, including compensation, succession planning, and leadership development
Ensure the organization remains compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Lead benefits administration, including the design and implementation of competitive benefit programs
Oversee the preparation and management of payroll and ensure adherence to compliance standards
Drive the development of HR policies, procedures, and job descriptions in alignment with best practices and business needs
Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team on employee relations, talent management, and workforce planning
Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering their professional growth and ensuring alignment with company objectives
Manage HR-related budgets, forecasting, and reporting
Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO and executive team
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required); Master’s degree preferred
PHR, SHRM-SCP, or other senior HR certification (preferred)
10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or healthcare industries
Proven track record of developing and executing HR strategies that drive business outcomes
Expertise in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, and talent management
Strong executive presence with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Proven experience in change management and leading HR initiatives in fast-paced environments
Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR practices to organizational goals
