Position Overview:The Director of Human Resources will play a critical role in shaping our company culture and driving strategic HR initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business goals, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring we attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's growth objectives, particularly in preparation for our IPO.

Talent Acquisition: Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract and hire top-tier software engineering talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Employee Engagement: Design and implement programs to enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction, fostering a collaborative and innovative workplace.

Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, ensuring alignment with company goals and providing guidance to managers on effective feedback and development practices.

Compliance and Policies: Ensure HR policies and practices comply with legal regulations and industry standards, and keep the employee handbook updated.

Learning and Development: Develop and oversee training and development programs to promote employee growth and leadership capabilities.

Culture Development: Champion initiatives that promote our core values and enhance our company culture, especially as we transition into a publicly traded company.

HR Metrics and Analytics: Utilize HR metrics and data analysis to drive decisions and improve HR processes and outcomes.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Masters degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.

8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a start up or tech or pre-IPO environment.

Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance issues relevant to a technology company.

Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
