This position will also drive utility cost reduction programs available to Dutch Bros, and right-sizing of waste disposal programs.Key Result Areas (KRAs):Optimize Shop and Site Utility Consumption:Maintain and leverage cost and consumption data for all utilities, develop benchmarks, identify outliers, and resolve pricing or consumption issues.Assess operating practices to identify wasteful utilization and partner with Facilities and Operations to propose improvement programs, both behavioral and systems related.Propose and support cost-effective IoT strategies.Utility Cost Management:Partner with Accounting and third-party vendors to ensure new shops are on-boarded to the correct programs, and that a regular and effective audit of service provider invoices is performed on existing shops.Leverage new construction standards and equipment to obtain investment rebates and credits available from utility companies, as well as state, federal, and other third-party programs.Leverage RFPs, negotiated contract pricing, and commodity purchasing to reduce the overall cost of utilities to Dutch Bros.Sustainability:Support and/or drive cost-effective sustainability programs related to utility management.Manage recycling, composting, and other sustainable waste diversion efforts to optimize right-sizing and overall cost of waste management program.Support ESG governance and initiatives as requested, and assist with the education of field staff and other stakeholders on sustainability practices adopted by the company.Job Qualifications:5 years overseeing utility and waste management procurement and utilization programs for a large, multi-unit, and multi-state company. Experience includes overseeing recycling and related waste disposal programs, and right-sizing services, required.Effective at building productive partnerships, and demonstrated ability to generate and quantify savings through the various incentive programs offered by service providers, as well as state and federal entities.Strong administrative and analytical skills, including the use of benchmarking concepts based on sales, the product sold or other variables for utility management.Strong familiarity and experience in the QSR industry highly desirable.10%-20% travel required.Location Requirement:

Must be able to occasionally move or lift office items up to 25 pounds.Hearing Requirements: Hearing must be sufficient or correctable to ensure clear understanding of spoken information, including participating in virtual meetings and phone calls. Use of hearing aids or other assistive devices is acceptable if needed.Reading and Writing Proficiency: Ability to read and write in English is essential for processing documents, drafting reports, and following up on necessary actions. Proficiency in written communication is required to handle job-related tasks effectively.Vision Requirements: Vision must be adequate or correctable to perform essential job duties, such as reading documents on a computer screen and using other visual tools. Use of corrective lenses or other measures to meet visual requirements is expected if needed.Technology Proficiency: Must be proficient in operating a computer and other office productivity tools such as printers, scanners, and collaboration software.Effective Communication: Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders via email, video conferencing, and other in-office communication tools.Compensation:
