Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Lead Java Developer to fill an open position with one of our banking clients. This exciting opportunity involves leading software development for a squad, including offshore developers, and actively participating in the creation and approval of pull requests. The successful candidate will escalate problems or feature requests to the development team and product owners, fostering effective communication with offshore teams to create innovative software solutions. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proven track record of creating testable, maintainable, and dependable software.In-depth knowledge of creating and maintaining alerting and monitoring systems.Familiarity with how cloud service providers and data centers interact, along with understanding API gateways.Proficiency in Splunk, Dynatrace, and AWS or comparable solutions.Mentoring mindset and experience working on geographically distributed teams.What Would Make You Stand Out:Collaboration with geographically distributed teams.Cloud Standard Certifications such as AWS Solution Architect Associate, Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Admin Associate, CCSP, CompTIA Cloud+, AWS Solution Architect Professional.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey ideas to various stakeholders.Financial industry experience.
