Job Description:
Hite Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support our client at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This position will support conceptualizing and developing business intelligence solutions which enable data-driven insights and decision-making on enterprise operations. This position will report to the Hite Program Manager.This position is a hybrid role primarily working remotely, with client engagement activities in Atlanta, GA.
Candidates should be local to the Atlanta area.Position Duties:
Support project leads in defining project requirements, progress monitoring, scheduling, and outcome tracking;
Support the stages of the analytics lifecycle including requirements, modeling, analysis, visualization and presentation;
Perform data analytic functions to include the development of measures, and metrics to help foster performance towards service targets, objectives, and goals to influence decisions;
Track metrics, trends, and analysis of activities surrounding the input, processing, and output of data from various computer programs or systems;
Create a baseline assessment of current reporting that support operations, to include capabilities to support the department internally and enterprise services;
Develop recommendations to automate business processes to include enabling real-time collection of data, analysis, monitoring, and reporting.
Produce real-time data analytics including quantitative and comparative analysis to recognize trends;
Use tools such as Power BI dashboards for strategic performance monitoring along with other ways to visualize and report on key data;
Produce an evidence-based approach to turn data into information to aid in decision making;
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
10+ years of experience
with a
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
OR
8+ years of experience
with a Master’s Degree;
Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst in large qualitative and quantitative data sets;
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques;
Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings especially in dashboard form;
Ability to translate data into quantitative and qualitative understandable information for high level executives, employees, and outside stakeholders;
Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, VA, SQL, Tableau;
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization;
US Citizenship is required to obtain or maintain an active NACI security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with the Federal government, particularly CDC.
