Data visualization UI/UX Designer / Analyst
to join our Team! This position will support the
CDC-DHP
in
Atlanta, GA . The candidate shall independently provide system updates and enhancements, organizational processes, and systems to improve the effectiveness of both organizational strategy and operations of programs supported by DHP. This will include updating, enhancing, and maintaining the data repository and internal Power BI-based DHP Dashboard, and other program management tools to track progress efficiently and effectively toward national goals and manage/monitor DHP recipients. The contractor shall support DHP at all levels and perform and complete all activities.This role is contingent upon award.Major Duties And Responsibilities
Support DHP Leadership with ongoing development of the Power BI-based internal DHP Dashboard to meet stakeholder needs and ensure maximum utility, allow linkages to other potential dashboards across DHP branches/offices, if needed, and ensure consistency and reduce duplication across platforms.Analyze operational details for the data repository and Power BI-based internal DHP Dashboard, updating the interface, data acquisition and storage, and other areas.Provide ongoing and iterative development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Power BI-based internal DHP Dashboard.Align program, surveillance, and other data sources to ensure consistency across the Dashboard.Assess, develop, and implement data modernization methods (e.g., use of APIs, machine learning technology such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), and other artificial intelligence [AI] tools) for gathering, analyzing, and visualizing quantitative and qualitative DHP data to further enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and utility of the Dashboard.Develop and implement quality control processes and recommendations for IT-architectural refinement.Develop Operational Manuals and end-user support tools and provide trainings for the Power BI-based DHP Dashboard.Required Qualifications
U.S. CitizenA Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionObtain HSPD-12 Clearance10 years of experience developing highly complex interactive Power BI dashboards and other visualization tools for non-technical audiences.Proficiency in using quantitative, qualitative, and financial data for visualizations.Demonstrated experience across multiple platforms, including browser-based and specific software packages.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in aligning program, surveillance, and other data sources to ensure consistency across dashboards.Knowledge and skills in data modernization methods, such as the use of APIs, machine learning technologies (e.g., Natural Language Processing), and other artificial intelligence tools for gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data.Ability to develop and implement quality control processes and recommendations for IT-architectural refinement.Experience in developing operational manuals, end-user support tools, and providing training for Power BI dashboards.BENEFITS:
