Overview:

Chick-fil-A is a renowned brand in the Food & Beverage industry, known for its delicious food and exceptional service. As a member of the leadership team, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills while working alongside a talented and enthusiastic team. With flexible scheduling options, 45-50 hour work week, including 8-hour and 10-hour shifts, weekend availability, and holiday shifts, we offer a work-life balance that fits your needs.

The Culinary Director will oversee and coordinate kitchen-oriented strategies and put ideas into action that drive the store towards our vision. Guides the team to push towards that vision which accounts for food safety, speed, and quality. Hands-on coaching role involved in daily activities of cooking, cleaning, and ensuring operational excellence is being executed ALL DAY, EVERY DAY! Development and mentorship of culinary team members and trainers, setting the standards for excellence and accountability to lead by example.

Skills and Experience:

2-3 years of management experience in restaurant or kitchen leading a team of 50+

College Degree or equivalent experience in a leadership position

Serve Safe Certified (preferred)

Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented, organized with strong time management

Strong verbal and written communication

Must be able to handle difficult situations

Ability to work in a team environment and as part of a high-performance leadership team

Ability to anticipate problems and adapt and make decisions quickly

Dedicated to continuous self-development to grow as the demands of the business continue to grow

Continuous development of leadership mindset

Continuous assessment of all systems and procedures to ensure we are as accurate, productive, and safe with our work as we can be

Keep food cost, labor, and inventory expenses within budget and goals

Properly resolve concerns brought to our attention through CFA CARES and reports

Maintain a friendly work environment through guidance, words, and actions. Lead the team with care

Ensuring systems are working correctly (LEAN, rotation, operations)

Preventing unnecessary food waste and teaching other team members the same

Handle special events to be sure they run smoothly

Consistently follow all food safety and food quality procedures and standards

Orders are consistently accurate and meet goals
