How we LEAD:Fonovisa/Disa is currently seeking to fill the role of a Marketing Manager. Reporting to the Marketing VP, in this role, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategic and operational tasks as part of the Marketing Fonovisa/Disa Team. The successful candidate will execute and control the marketing strategies for a specific group of artists.
How you’ll CREATE:
Develop and execute marketing strategy for artists’ music and music-related products across the Fonovisa/Disa roster. These include but are not limited to: single / EP /albums, music videos and video content, merchandise and direct-to-consumer business.
Regularly interact with artists and management to jointly plan all aspects of an artist release plan and marketing strategy to ensure the success of the project.
Understand and analyze the constant flow of streaming, sales, radio and social data and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
Create alternative cost-efficient promotions and advertising for retail and to the consumer.
Develop and maintain relationships with designated managers and artists.
Communicate all artist related activities (publicity, in stores, etc.) to all the teams in the company to maximize efforts and achieve the established goals.
Work with digital marketing and sales staff to maximize marketing efforts where possible.
Manage and maintain an own calendar; to be able to also coordinate schedules of artists to fulfill activities.
Be able to build digital marketing strategies for artists across social, paid media, email, etc. jointly with the digital team.
Ability to monitor and understand data, to provide recommendations based on performance for better project improvement. Also oversee social media strategy and social branding across each artist project.
Brainstorm and manage online promotions including contests, giveaways, and pre-saves.
Conduct competitive market research to help keep the team aware of new trends within music marketing.
Assist on coordinating company events such as listening events, press conferences, media tours and parties.
Bring your VIBE:
At least 2 years of experience in marketing, artist management, and/or music business.
Experience in music/entertainment business is preferred.
Excellent written, presentation and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow up on several tasks simultaneously.
Must be fluent in Spanish (oral and written).
Ability to manage and prioritize, multi-task.
Strength in creativity and efficient use of resources and tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects and people.
Strong understanding of DSP trends and emerging streaming business (Spotify, Apple, Amazon Music, Pandora, YouTube).
Social media savvy, with experience on platforms and understanding of associated data.
Good financial knowledge.
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related digital or music field is required.
