Provide sales activation leadership and direction to the region's new and established producers. A strong executive presence and ability to present effectively to newly-hired sales producers, prospects, and most senior levels of the organization is critical. This role will be a key member of the USI regional team(s) with reporting structure to USICG.Responsibilities:Responsible for sales leadership resulting in higher visibility and quality market positioning. Support regional new business, client retention, and revenue growth.Work with National Sales & Marketing Leader and Practice Leaders to ensure effective execution of USICG processes and engagement strategies in each office. This includes communication and clear messaging of all product and solution launches.Participate in screening, hiring, and onboarding of new producers.Visible and active support of the USI sales process and USICG sales methodology.Work with National Sales & Marketing Leader and Practice Leaders to ensure quality tracking and measurement of sales activity.Assist with acquisition integration with respect to sales activation, messaging, training, sales, and marketing.Drive utilization and keep current all prospecting and relationship building opportunities within the company's sales force automation system (U Engage) and Marketo.Establish and execute marketing and communication strategy, marketing campaigns, sponsorship selection, memberships, and events.Work with producers in closing new business by attending sales finalist meetings.Responsible for meeting regional sales targets including personal Centers of Influence (COI) to drive additional sales.Execute cross-sales strategy into Retail Insurance brokerage clients for our retirement services.Participate as coach/professor/facilitator/curriculum contributor in the National USI Fast Start programs for both new and established producers as requested by the National Sales and Marketing Leader. This will include local ongoing reinforcement in each regional office which will help both the region and the overall Company achieve its new producer success and improve the growth of established underperforming producers.Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:5 years of Retirement Services sales management experience. Proven ability to motivate and lead.10+ years experience in the Retirement Services industry working within Defined Contribution Recordkeeping and Investment Advisory.5 years of sales experience focused on prospecting and capturing new business. Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding goals.Bachelor’s degree required.Series 6, 63, and 65 or Series 7 and 66 licenses required or willingness to obtain.Experience selling directly to plan sponsors (vs wholesaling) is strongly preferred.Extensive experience hiring, interviewing, and building successful sales teams.Experience in employee communications, regulatory and compliance, and service provider search.A consultative, positive, and resourceful approach to dealing with prospects, clients, and associates.Highly developed organizational and time management skills.Ability to deal with senior level management and have a top-level executive presence.Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
