We’re now hiring a Founding Head of Sales to be our very first full-time employee in New York City - a tech enthusiast who is STOKED to bring our AI, Ellie, to more real estate developers, owners, and managers across the US. We need an ambitious, independent, proactive, high energy person with a strong desire to revolutionise the world of work – starting with document heavy industries like real estate.As our first US hire, you're keen to be hands-on in every part of the sales lifecycle - and have the experience to do it successfully. Reporting into Kate Jarvis, CEO, day to day you will be doing everything necessary to make our new US branch a brilliant success, in a highly values aligned way. You’ll:Build and own a killer US sales pipeline, independently managing the full cycle from prospecting to closing those sweet six-figure deals, and being constantly on the lookout for how you can make it even more successful.Proactively identify and reach out to potential clients via email, LinkedIn, phone, events attendance, and any-other-damn-way you can connect with them.Lead engaging sales meetings, delivering presentations and demos of Ellie that'll have prospects on the edge of their seat.Build on the playbook we've developed, levelling up our Sales approach with the benefit of your deep experience.Develop proof of concept demos for late-stage customers that showcase Ellie's game-changing capabilities.Collaborate remotely with the CEO and UK commercial team, sharing insights and helping shape our sales and marketing strategy.Partner closely with Product, sharing frontline insights to shape Ellie's evolution and ensure we're always one step ahead of market needs.Stay updated on industry trends and continuously learn about the product's applications in real estate, using this knowledge to pivot your approach and keep our strategy cutting-edge.Build and nurture relationships with key industry players and strategic partners, laying the groundwork for further expansion.What we're looking for
You've thrived in a high-growth VC-backed startup, or in a similar role at a scaleup (think: being the first to sell and build a team around a shiny new product). This isn't just preferred - it's required.
We're a small team of skilled and independent contributors - and we need someone who can hit the ground running right alongside them.Must
A “doer” who will quickly ramp up to independently owning the sales cycle end to end - and be comfortable with limited direction from CEO.6-8+ years of closing experience in a B2B SaaS or tech environment, with proven success metrics on closing six-figure deals and meaningfully contributing to ARR.
6-8 years is a guide, not a rule. If you're a sales whizz with a proven track record of closing deals and a passion for our mission, we want to hear from you, no matter how many years you've got under your belt!
Experience selling technically complex products (e.g., deeptech, fintech, climatetech, robotics), and is driven by understanding that product in detail.Willing to travel at least 4 times a year for business purposes.An interest in the property industry and empathy for the challenges faced by professionals in the sector.Enthusiasm for AI and its potential to transform the way we work.Be located in or around New York City.Experience in business building - developing and executing a successful GTM.In addition - Nice to have
