July 1, 2025Position Overview:Woodland Presbyterian School, a co-ed, 2K-8, independent school, seeks a full-time Director of Admission to join the Administrative Team. Reporting to the Head of School and collaborating closely with the Advancement Team, this position oversees the admissions process to meet enrollment goals. The Director will attract, enroll, and retain a diverse, mission-aligned student body and contribute to the strategic planning and execution of recruitment initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Conduct family tours, arrange student visits and testing, and guide and support families throughout the entire admission process from inquiry to application to admission.Develop and implement strategic admissions plans to achieve enrollment targets.Analyze enrollment trends and market data to optimize recruitment efforts.Lead outreach initiatives such as prospective student events, school fairs, open houses, and tours.Foster partnerships with feeder schools, educational consultants, and community organizations.Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communication to execute a cohesive marketing strategy.Oversee the admissions process, ensuring the timely review and presentation of applications to the Admissions Committee.Ensure positive admission process experiences through prompt communication and support.Work with school leadership to enhance retention strategies and support smooth student transitions into the Woodland community.Provide regular reports to the Head of School on enrollment progress and data.Collaborate with the Financial Assistance Committee to manage financial aid programs and awards.Manage admissions databases and ensure data accuracy for reporting and analysis.Partner with academic division heads to align admissions messaging with the school’s educational philosophy and programs.Collaborate across campus with various departments and colleagues including division heads, the school counselor, and teachers.Play a key role in the school community’s daily life as well as events while building relationships with students and families.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).Previous experience in independent school admissions is preferred.Proven leadership and management experience.Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.Strong technology skills ideally with experience in admissions management and database systems.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Application Process:Submit a cover letter, employment application, resume, references, and a statement of your admissions philosophy to Adam Moore, Head of School, via email at
