Department of Oral-Maxillofacial SurgeryThe University of Maryland, Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery, is seeking applications for a full-time faculty member at the rank of Clinical Instructor or Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include academic and clinical teaching at undergraduate and residency levels, supervision of dental students, and care of patients in the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic and the Acute Care Clinic at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic at University of Maryland Medical Center.Minimum Requirements:A DDS, DMD, or equivalent degree and eligibility for licensure to practice dentistry in Maryland.Possession of or eligibility for a class III anesthesia permit in the State of Maryland (highly desirable).Completion of a residency in Oral Surgery/Oral-Maxillofacial surgery.Experience in undergraduate/postgraduate teaching (advantage).Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
