PURPOSE: Responsible include, but are not limited to, strategizing with the sales team to maximize revenue, securing new accounts, and maintaining existing accounts. Other responsibilities include executing sales and marketing strategies at each managed hotel.Will need to facilitate team meetings with the sales, revenue management, and property General Managers to maximize the profitability of the hotels while maintaining guest satisfaction throughout the brands.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Closes the best opportunities for each hotel based on market conditions and specific needs.2. Development and detailed delivery of the annual Sales & Marketing plan that support the overall business and sales strategies of the property and the company3. Assist with the preparation and analysis of the annual Budget including Mix of Sales4. Execute tactical sales processes that support the annual plan5. Administer quarterly action plans and monitor incentive program6. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenues and market penetration that positively impact the hotel's performance in Occupancy, ADR and RevPAR.7. Develop and implement sales strategies to identify new business and grow market share.8. Develop and maintain new accounts9. Meet revenue goals through effective yield management strategies10. Identify new demand generators in the market and secure business11. Tracks current incoming client base for follow-up12. Capture business from the competitive hotels13. Complete established minimum of documented outside sales calls14. Travel as necessary with Sales Directors/Managers to enhance their marketing skills and training and mentor them as required.
15. Utilize strategies for prospecting new business, including but not limited to: Outside Sales Calls, Telemarketing, Internet Prospecting, Networking, Site Visits, Market Blitzes16. Build and maintain close relations with major accounts, community leaders and convention and tourism offices.17. Prepare weekly sales reports documenting sales calls, outlining opportunities, and identifying new bookings
18. Stay informed of the Competition - competitive strategies, business conditions, and industry developments.
19. Communicate client expectations and/or requests to hotel staff in a timely manner20. Conduct sales audits by assigned properties.
EXPERIENCE:1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or a related field2. Minimum 3-5 years hotel sales experience in a hospitality or hotels sales and marketing setting with a record of proactive sales and ability to effectively close.3. Experience selling in a multiple hotel environment.4. Proven experience in maintaining and building relationships with existing accounts, while aggressively developing new business.
SKILLS:1. Strong interpersonal skills to assess client needs, negotiate pricing and provide overall guest satisfaction.2. Effectively deal with internal and external guests, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy. Presents a professional appearance and manner.3. Superior communication, presentation, organization, time management and listening skills.4. Proven track record for increasing revenue growth to include securing contracts with local business and companies in an effort to exceed budgeted revenue and occupancy levels of assigned hotel5. Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint and familiarity with brand specific PMS.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
