Counter Sales & Hydraulic / Industrial Hose Specialist
for our Spokane location. We are looking for a self-starter who works well with others in an energetic team environment, has the ability to take charge, and possesses a willingness to learn. The candidate must be organized, possess a strong attention to detail and strive to provide a great customer service experience.ARG Industrial Spokane provides hose, fittings and associated industrial products for a wide variety of markets and industries. These include equipment manufacturing, transportation, oil and gas, marine, construction, food & beverage, government and others. The company delivers value through quality fabrication, product expertise and meaningful service throughout Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Northern Idaho. We are a hands-on customer service company that believes our employees are our greatest asset.Benefits:Competitive salary100% employee owned companyEmployee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP)Excellent medical, dental and vision benefits401(k) plan with matchPaid holidays / vacation / sick timePerformance bonusesJob Responsibilities:Answer all customer inquiries quickly and accurately in a positive manner.Assist front counter customers including inspection of worn or damaged/defective parts, determine replacement parts, troubleshoot, and research products and prices to best fit application.Maintain clean organized showroom and replenish stock product as needed.Generate quotes, enter orders, contact vendors, update records and track orders as necessary through the ERP system.Support Outside Sales and respond in a timely manner with price, availability, product specifications, order status and other information as required.Attend product training and seminars if available.Possibly work Saturdays as part of a rotation schedule.Work with others to create a positive team environment.Other duties assigned.Successful candidate will possess:Ability to lift 50lbs continuously and without restrictions.1 year of experience in the hose industry with mechanical and manufacturing or similar background desired.Previous forklift experience is a plus but not required.Willingness to learn and teach as required to get the job done.Attention to detail.Ability to complete work assignments in a timely manner.Reliable and dependable adherence to work schedule.Shift work assignment priorities when needed and as directed.As Employee owners, we feel a tremendous commitment to our customers, co-workers, and the families of those employed by the Alaska Rubber Group.
