Job SummaryThe Assistant Beverage Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the logistics and selling of all beverage operations at our organization. Through your proactive leadership, you will create an exceptional customer experience through beverage sales. You will organize and delegate the ordering and planning of all beverage products and services at our location. You will work closely with other department heads to ensure each department has what they need from your department. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of all beverage services and report to the Beverage Manager.
ResponsibilitiesQualifications:
Typically requires a high school diploma
5+ years of front and back of house Beverage or F&B experience
Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles
Performs complex tasks typically following established processes
Proven knowledge of Beverage best practices and operation standards
Exceptional interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
Broad knowledge and experience across various Beverage quality and price points (liquor, beer, and wine sales)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
The ability to collaborate effectively with other leaders and stakeholders
Strong organization and analytical abilities
Proficiency in POS systems
Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change
A pleasing personality
Good customer service ethics
Thorough knowledge regarding state specifications for running a bar
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and market all beverage outlets
Develop and manage the implementation of menus, package deals, and promotions for all beverage services
Closely monitor beverage product inventory
Ensure all beverages are served to our standards and are consistent throughout all our bars onsite
Monitor internal cost control procedures
Create and enforce high standards of maintenance, cleanliness, and safety within all bar areas
Ensure all bar equipment, utensils, and materials are clean and in compliance with food safety standards
Manage operations to meet liquor license and food safety requirements
Communicate with vendors and suppliers to maintain adequate inventory levels
Communicate with regulatory and compliance bodies as required
Guide every other employee of the bar and ensure that every guest is leaving happily from their bar
