We are looking for a
Fire Sprinkler Test & Inspection Technician
to join the team!As the Fire Sprinkler Test & Inspection Technician, you're responsible for the inspection, service and/or repair of fire sprinkler systems. Ensuring high levels of accuracy of these responsibilities and working in accordance with applicable national and local Codes and Standards.In this role, you will:Routinely inspect, test, troubleshoot and service fire sprinkler systems.Conduct service calls and perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on low voltage systems.Troubleshoot systems to determine source of problem and recommend solution(s).Determine the presence of other fire protection and building systems, and device locations.Conduct fire code compliance follow-ups to ensure that corrective actions are appropriate.Document detailed reports of fire inspections performed, fire code violations observed, and recommendations.Maintain a clean and safe work environment on and off site.Provide exceptional customer service & develop strong relationships with customers.Interface successfully with clients and other branches of business; Administration, Sales, and Management.Requirements:3 years’ experience performing test and inspection of Fire Sprinkler systems.NICET certifications in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems and Fire Alarm Systems highly preferred.High School Diploma or equivalent.Familiar with applicable fire and building codes.Valid state issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work of this job and not an exhaustive list of all the responsibilities, duties and skills required.
