The OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to join the Global Accounting and Reporting organization as we continue to automate accounting processes and scale the business. You will lead multiple aspects of general ledger accounting, assist with the monthly close process and be a key contributor on various projects and initiatives.

What you'll doParticipate in month-end close activities by ensuring transactions are recorded timely and accuratelyOwn the tracking, capitalizing, and amortization of developed software costsRecord intercompany transactions and affiliated reconciliation processManage and own the master data, currency remeasurement, translation, and consolidation processesPrepare complex journal entries and accounts reconciliationsDrive process improvements and lead exciting accounting transformation projects to achieve scalability, efficiency, and productivity.Work cross-functionally with International Accounting, External Reporting, Finance and TaxSupport year-end audit and schedule requests of external auditorsOwn the documentation and compliance testing related to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) for responsible areasSynthesize data into presentation-ready executive summariesAssist with ASC 842 lease accounting transactionsAd Hoc projects and analyses

What you need to succeedBachelor's degree in Accounting7+ years of accounting experience requiredPositive demeanor, collaborative, and multifaceted in your approach to solving issuesAgile and comfortable in a fluid environment that changes as the business evolvesHighly motivated self-starter who is passionate about process improvementsCritical thinker with high attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Excel skills are essential. Preferred skills:

Powerpoint, SAP, Blackline, Tableau, Power BI

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $76,000 -- $179,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
