$66,873.26 - $70,392.90 Per Year

JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE
Under the direction of the Director of CQI and Programmatic Compliance Lead, the Financial Analyst will review the company’s historical and current financial data and records to give advice for guiding business investments and overall financial strategy. This role will research and analyze financial information to help the company make well-informed decisions, write reports and monitor financial movements. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing effective systems for continuous improvement throughout all VOALA financial practices that ensures financial accountability across financial services, through such methods as audits and reviews.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Compile and analyze historical and current program and corporate financial data, records, reports, and performance, and report the trends to senior management.
Evaluate historical and current financial data to understand the company’s financial condition.
Develop financial models that forecast business outcomes and profits.
Create written reports that enable management teams to make strategic decisions to meet business goals.
Work with Senior Managers to implement best financial practices at Programs and company-wide.
Create financial models and processes to track and report financial performance that includes recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
Conduct audits and reviews on financial services and records to provide a higher level of assurance on accuracy.
Create reports and recommendations on findings from audits and financial reviews.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance.
3 years of experience in an accounting and/or financial planning department.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BS, Finance; MBA.
5 years accounting experience.
Non-profit funding and accounting.
Familiar with CARF standards.
Familiar with Great Plains accounting software.
