This position is contingent upon contract award, and if awarded we're anticipating that the role would be performed on a hybrid basis with onsite support in Washington, DC. In this role you will assist with preparing the following audited and pro forma statements:Balance SheetStatement of Changes in Net PositionStatement of Budgetary ResourcesNotes to the Financial StatementsRequired Supplementary InformationOther InformationAny additional statements or information required by OMB Circular A-136Assist with the preparation and/or review of recurring work paper analysis and posting models and perform variance analysis of GL accounts and financial statement line items.Assist with the implementation of new/amended accounting standards and regulations, and new/updated business processes.Assist with documenting policies and guidance included in standard operating procedures and/or Internal Revenue Manual.Other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting5+ years of experience with at least 3 working with federal generally accepted accounting principles, techniques, and practices.Must have proven experience in SAP Federal Financial Management and Procurement software.Audited and unaudited financial statements compilation.Financial Reporting.Desired Skills/Experience
IRS CFO Experience.Knowledge of the current IRS financial management system.At Significance, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to experience; job-related skill sets; relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply.
