Food Safety Quality Assurance Director
to become a vital part of our DO & CO family, joining our dynamic and growing team.What you’ll be doing:You will ensure that that each unit meets the company’s industries and regulatory standards for food safety and product integrity at all times. You’ll lead and directs audits, inspections, and consultations to ensure understanding and compliance with applicable standards.Who we are:We have a passion for hospitality culinary delights on every banquet floor and in the sky. We refine the classics, develop the unknown and grow constantly – sometimes beyond our own expectations.What We offer:A competitive salary that reflects your experience and expertise.Full-time employees are eligible for 401K and healthcare benefits; Medical, Dental & Vision.Daily Complimentary Meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).An organization dedicated to fostering innovation; in pursuit of cultivating creativity, embracing new ideas and leveraging our impeccable standard for hospitality.Genuine career development opportunities, both nationally and internationally.The chance to collaborate and represent a leading force in the luxury global gourmet entertainment industry.Responsibilities:Follow the Do & Co International Catering Standards and achieve the requirements of the clauses and monitor them.Keep abreast of all relevant legislation and where applicable, implement new legislationProvide Technical support for new projects.Act as an expert on all matters of food safety.Build strong relationships with Quality Management in each of the DO & CO units in the USA.Oversee the completion of the supplier audits program to ensure the raw materials comply with our standards.Review, maintain and monitor the food safety systems and HACCP systems at each of the catering units and coordinate with each of the QA managers at the individual facilities to always implement and ensure best practice.Liaise with external bodies regarding FDA to ensure the production is updated when the legislation are amended.Establish processes to ensure all specifications and recipes are up to dateSupport the management of all DO & CO Units in the USADevelop and Implement training programs for all staff in food safetyMake Certain that all complaints are investigated fully with root cause and corrective actions are identified.Delivery of customer complaint information and other monthly information as requested by internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications:Deep knowledge in HACCP, ISO, SQF and food safety systemsFood Safety Certification, state specific if applicableHACCP CertifiedPCQI – (Preventative Control Qualified Individual)Proactive and self-organizedAbility to manage through a substantial workloadCapable to work independently as well as in a team environmentAbility to complete assigned tasks within the given time in order to meet strict deadlinesFlexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays)Minimum 3 to 5 years of Hygiene, Quality Assurance experience preferably in a food manufacturing siteBachelor´s Degree Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Basic or Applied Science, EnvironmentalScience, or any other related subject.Diversity & Inclusion statementDO & CO provides equal employment opportunities.
