Description
As part of our strategic expansion, we are seeking experienced
OSP Inspectors
to join our Outside Plant fielding teams in Oahu and Kauai. These individuals will gather field survey information for fiber and/or copper and submit the collected data to be converted into associated technical documents and engineering prints.Key ResponsibilitiesConducts field surveys and audits existing underground telecommunications infrastructure to obtain information related to handholes, manholes, conduits, fiber counts, spare availability, etc.
Accurately records and reports information pertaining to existing utilities, ROW, easement, etc.
This is a temporary position lasting approximately (4) four months.
Travel around the island is required.
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseTelecommunications fielding experience is preferred, especially in FTTH networks.
Requires good oral and written communication skills.
Desire and ability to work on technical projects, utilizing mathematics and computer skills.
Must be willing to work outdoors. Terrain and weather conditions will vary.
High school diploma or GED required.
Training will be provided for candidates who qualify.
