Job Description
Position:
IT Applications Director - Finance Responsibilities: Oversee the organization's development, implementation, and maintenance of financial applications like SAP S/4 HANA, OneSource, Blackline, Bloomberg, SAP SAC, etc. Primary Responsibilities
Leadership Collaborate and build relationships with senior business leaders and work closely with stakeholders to gather input and feedback, incorporating it into product strategy and roadmap decisions. Partner with IT cross-domain leaders and architects to design and deliver business solutions. Proactively identify risks, anticipate issues, and guide teams through complex situations. Build a high-performing global team while fostering a culture of growth, continuous improvement, and strategic thinking. Demonstrate the ability to lead transformation projects, navigate ambiguity, and deliver solutions in a rapidly changing business landscape. Technical Deep domain expertise in one or more modules (Accounting, General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Product Costing, Planning, Financial Consolidation & Close, Tax, and Treasury). Build financial systems to handle increased business reporting requirements. Collaborate with internal controls and audit teams to ensure systems are SOX compliant. Strengthen the Finance IT team to handle the demands of being a public company. Maintain compliance with SEC reporting requirements, including quarterly and annual reports. Qualifications
BA/BS degree in a Business, Finance, Accounting, or quantitative field. 15+ years of experience with implementing and managing the SAP S/4 platform in global organizations. 10+ years at the Director level or above with a proven track record of building and leading successful technology teams. Preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Experience in the manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of Product Costing and Controlling Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). Experience at a high-growth technology start-up that has gone IPO. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
