by applying your expertise within the Containerboard Packaging Group as Finance Manager - Planning and Analysis:
* Please note that this position is based in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville.*
Under the supervision of the Sr. Finance Director, FP&A & Commercial, the position's mandate will be to develop and implement the strategy and structure required for the smooth operation of the financial planning process, the reporting of our performance and the monitoring of initiatives to increase the Group's profitability.
Coordinate and optimize the process and tools used to draw up forecasts and long-term financial plans, and maximize their use in decision-making;
Coordinate the analysis, preparation and publication of the Group's financial statements on a monthly basis;
Prepares, analyzes and presents internal and external financial information (MD&A, investor presentations, etc.);
Coordinate the financial analysis, planning and budgeting (“rolling forecast”) process;
Support the Senior Manager Planning and Analysis in the understanding, analysis and presentation of internal and external financial information;
Assist the Senior Planning and Analysis Manager in the evaluation of Group financial projects;
Manage the coordination of profitability enhancement initiatives;
Contribute to the development and implementation of the Group's strategic plan;
Analyze financial data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for improvement;
Implement Cascades administrative and accounting best practices;
Continuously improve business processes and financial systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy;
Ensure the development of his team's skills.

Bachelor's degree in accounting and an accounting designation (CPA) combined with seven (7-10) years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience could compensate for the absence of an accounting designation;
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
Experience in developing financial reports and metrics, with proficiency in tools such as Office Suite (Excel ++) and Power BI;
Knowledge of SAP or another ERP, an asset;
Knowledge of the manufacturing environment, an asset;
Experience in staff supervision;
Fluency in French and English, to communicate easily with our units and partners in Quebec, the English-speaking provinces and the United States.
