JD, MBA or BA in Economics, Finance, Sustainability, Human Capital, Human Resources, Sustainable Accounting or related fields or equivalent years of industry experience1+ years of experience with consulting, project management, client services, writing, and communications (associate level based on experience)Knowledgeable in sustainability with ability to flex across ESG topic areas such as climate, health and safety, DEI, and governancePossesses strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience conducting business analysis and data-driven decision makingIdeal candidate has experience with ESG data and scope 1-3 GHG inventorying. Experience with ESG software and climate risk assessments are a plusIdeal candidate has an understanding of ESG regulations in the US and abroad, including the SEC climate rule, CSRD, among othersCertifications in sustainability are a plusProject management and organizational skillsProficient in self-led research and ability to synthesize findingsSelf-starter with ability to proactively stay on top of ESG trendsStrong written and verbal communication skillsWhat You'll Do:
Support the team in collecting ESG data, calculating GHG emissions, performing climate risk assessments, and setting emissions reduction targetsLead and facilitate material delivery with clients by preparing appropriate client presentations, guiding discussion, and answering client questionsOversee the creation of a variety of deliverables ranging from project kickoff materials, benchmarking decks, research memorandums, project status updates, and moreAnticipate client questions or new client needs before they come in and adapt the project plan and timelines accordinglyManage client ESG disclosure for tracking and reporting ESG performance to various stakeholdersAssist with ESG peer benchmarking, data mining, and chart building as part of broader projects and analysesResearch, draft, revise, and present corporate policies on Environment and Social key issue areasResearch ESG data and disclosure patterns through online platforms and data providersAnalyze and respond to standardized frameworks (SASB, TCFD, GRI, etc.), as designated by client need$60,000 - $125,000 a year
The expected pay range for this position is $ 60,000 - $ 125,000
(exclusive of bonus, equity, or benefits for which this role may be eligible). This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making individual compensation decisions including but not limited to experience and training; skill sets; licensure and certifications; location and other business and organizational needs; and applicable laws.
