You will work closely with our partners, conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, letters, and legal memoranda. If you’ve graduated law school, passed the California State Bar exam, and are seeking a full-time, in-office opportunity to jump-start your career in the legal industry, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesAnalyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clientsOrganize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staffDraft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used in proceedings and contract negotiationsCommunicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficientlyPerform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneysQualificationsLicensed to practice law in the State of CaliforniaJuris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law schoolCandidates must have passed the bar examPrepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client baseExceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clientsActive membership with the American Bar Association (ABA)Compensation$30 - $65 hourlyAbout Wickers, Wickers & Admans LLPWickers, Wickers & Admans LLP is a law firm established over 30 years ago in Torrance, CA.
