Director of Vendor Relations

Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Vendor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services. This position requires strong skills in supply chain management, inventory management, and logistics to effectively support our operational needs.DutiesDevelop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best pricing and quality of materials.Manage the sourcing process, including identifying potential vendors and evaluating their capabilities.Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess.Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of products and services.Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.Utilize SAP and MRP systems for tracking orders, inventory levels, and vendor performance.Collaborate with internal teams to understand material requirements and production schedules.Fabricate reports on vendor performance metrics for management review.Address any issues or discrepancies with vendors promptly to maintain smooth operations.QualificationsProven experience in supply chain management or vendor management is preferred.Strong understanding of inventory management principles and logistics processes.Experience with sourcing materials and negotiating contracts effectively.Familiarity with SAP or similar MRP systems is highly desirable.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Strong analytical skills to evaluate vendor performance and make data-driven decisions.Effective communication skills for building relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.Join us in this exciting opportunity where you can contribute significantly to our supply chain operations while growing your career in a dynamic environment.Job Type:
