Join Victaulic and play a pivotal role in our manufacturing success.Key Responsibilities:Production Planning:Develop and implement production plans to meet production goals and customer demand.Ensure efficient utilization of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.Monitor production progress and make adjustments as needed to meet targets.Quality Control:Establish and enforce quality control standards and procedures to ensure product quality and consistency.Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.Team Management:Recruit, train, and supervise production staff, including operators, technicians, and other personnel.Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among employees.Set performance goals, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.Process Improvement:Continuously evaluate and improve production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to increase production capacity.Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices.Safety Compliance:Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and procedures.Conduct safety training and audits to minimize accidents and injuries.Budget Management:Prepare and manage the production department's budget, including cost control and expense tracking.Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.Communication:Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, logistics, and sales to coordinate production efforts.Communicate production updates, issues, and progress to senior management.Reporting:Generate regular reports on production performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs).Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Compliance and Regulations:Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, such as environmental, safety, and labor laws.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, manufacturing) preferred.Proven experience in production management in a steel or pipe fabrication / manufacturing setting with a track record of achieving production targets.Pipe coating and lining experience is a plus.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Knowledge of production processes, equipment, and technology.Familiarity with quality control and continuous improvement methodologies.Proficiency in using production planning and management software.Understanding of safety regulations and compliance.Strong organizational and time management skills.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Victaulic offers a wide variety of benefits to full time employees, which includes: medical/Rx/dental/vision insurance, PTO, company paid holidays, company paid short-term disability, company paid long-term disability, educational reimbursement, adoption assistance, company paid EAP, 401k with company match and company paid life insurance.EEO Statement: Victaulic is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EOE/M/F/Vets/Disabled) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
