Supports Materials & Structural Analysis (MSD) under Analytical Instruments Segment (AIG). Position location in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Discover Impactful Work:

Seeking a Finance Senior Manager who will provide finance and business leadership to the MSD Group FP&A team. The role leads one to two finance analyst, partner with the MSD Finance VP/GM / Site / Operations Leaders. In addition, the position holder will provide valuable decision support, identify and implement operational improvement opportunities and develop a strong finance team.

A day in the Life: Lead AOP / QBR / STRAP/ MBR / Outlooks, in a matrixed financial forecast. Supervise and analyze financials, including leading monthly and quarterly reporting (revenue, gross margin, OPEX, KPI's, CAPEX). Lead data analysis for the business, Support ad-hoc internal, group, or corporate requests, as needed. Analyze financial and business performance against key business metrics and identify pertinent financial highlights, enabling understanding of progress against strategic business plans. Understands and deploys the best tools / methods to optimally communicate sophisticated data and topics. Identify, communicate, and lead risk & opportunities. Develop, mentor, and provide leadership to a team of successful financial analysts while developing positive relationships across the Group and Company. Keys to Success:

Education

An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting is required

Experience

7+ years of direct experience in financial analysis, reporting, and accounting within a large company. Prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organization Proficient at understanding and proactively communicating the financial implications of business decisions and dynamics Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

An ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials and strong finance skills

Experience in the areas of financial reporting, internal control, forecasting, analysis, and accounting knowledge through professional and/or educational background. Ability to handle large sets of data, crafting accurate reports with responsibility for the quality and integrity of results. Organized multitasker that is able to meet timelines while achieving results, especially in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Excellent skills with MS Excel are required; HFM/CMR, QAD are preferred. Proficient verbal and written communication skills Strongly prefer candidate who has Business partnership, Commercial, FPA consolidation or Operations FPA background
