Please apply today!Responsibilities•Teach patients how to use recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene•Oversee associate dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans•Coordinate and perform preventive dental care treatments such as sealants, x-rays, flossing, fillings, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated•Ensure all work is compliant with infection and infectious diseases control standards; office policies and procedures; and safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines•Refer patient to dental specialists such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, and periodontists when appropriateQualifications•Years of experience working with restorative cases & surgical procedures•2+ years in clinical or private practice dentistry experience is required•Current and unrestricted state license in good standing•Up-to-date knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is desired•DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA accredited dental school, and a Bachelor's degree are required•Possess strong bedside manner, and great communication skills
