Great opportunity to work with a publicly traded company!Qualifications:3+ years of experience as a Sr. AccountantCurrently/ previously worked with a publicly traded companyExperience with month-end, journal entries, reconciliationsExperience working with multiple entitiesExperience working with SOX complianceJob DescriptionWe are looking for a qualified Sr. Accountant to join our team and help us achieve our goals. The ideal candidate is a team player who has experience preparing and analyzing the companys financial records. The candidate will compile financial statements, review data, and ensure financial compliance. The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for executing a variety of financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, accounts receivable, tax returns, bank reconciliations, and general ledger reviews. The Sr. Accountant also analyzes corporate financial operations to ensure the business is running efficiently. The Sr. Accountant will report to the Finance Manager. Ultimately, the candidate should be able to contribute to high-quality customer service.Duties include:+ Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance+ Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results+ Support month-end and year-end close process+ Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls (SOX)+ Ensure compliance with GAAP principles+ Record, verify, consolidate, and enter transactions to ensure the integrity of accounting information+ Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information+ Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies+ Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries+ Handle intercompany transactions, including invoicing, balancing intercompany accounts, and intercompany consolidation entries+ Analyze financial information and summarize financial status+ Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficienciesAbout Aston Carter:Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
