About Us:United Trades of America is a leading provider of skilled labor in the construction industry. We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to oversee large-scale electrical projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop clear and concise work statements for field operations that align with project goals.- Manage daily project administration, supervising staff or multiple Project Managers.- Train and mentor Project Managers on company philosophy and operational systems.- Negotiate and oversee the preparation of change orders for projects.- Maintain detailed logs to track project progress and performance.- Train and supervise a Project Assistant in managing project tracking tools.- Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth construction activities.- Collaborate with onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure timely project delivery within budget.- Investigate and resolve any serious issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.- Represent the company in meetings with clients and subcontractors.- Prepare monthly cost reports and manage financial aspects of contracts, including progress billing and equipment rentals.- Protect the company's interests while building strong client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management (preferred).- 5-7 years of project management experience in construction, focusing on electrical systems.- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
