Position Summary:
The Account Manager will service existing customers and sell new auto, property, and other personal lines insurance.
Essential Functions:Sell insurance policies to potential and existing customers.Respond to leads from various sources, including referrals, internet requests, and phone calls.Understand needs, provide quotes, and follow up to bind coverage and close sales.Provide insurance advice and explanations as needed to customers to ensure understanding of policy language and coverage.Build trusted customer relationships.Develop local referral sources and relationships to expand business opportunities.Manages a book of business; updates policy information as needed, handles renewals, and cross-sells new or enhanced coverage to expand the customer relationship.Ensures customer policies are aligned with customer needs.Meet production, communication, and business development goals and expectations.Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Prior customer service experienceMinimum 5 years' experience in a P&C Insurance account manager roleFL 220 or 2044 LicenseHigh school diploma, or equivalentEssential Skills:
Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skillsExcellent computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint)
