Shift & StatusWhat Will You Do?As the Director Nursing at Pine Rest, you'll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. The Director of Nursing (DON) promotes the success of Pine Rest by the continued development and coordination of nursing services within Hospital and Residential Services. This position, in coordination with the Chief Nurse Executive (CNE), is accountable for developing, improving, designing, and creating a strategic plan for nursing staff and nursing care within HRS. The DON is a key member of the HRS Senior Leadership Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centered nursing strategy for high quality care consistent with Pine Rest's mission, vision, and values. The DON also contributes to the success of HRS through achievement of organizational goals, coordination with other disciplines and departments, and commitment to continuous improvement. The Director of Nursing is dedicated to excellent customer service, enthusiastic about the care we offer, and foster a sense of belonging and empowerment in a diverse workplace

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing, improving, designing and creating a strategic plan for staff and nursing care within Hospital and Residential Services (HRS).Direct supervision of Clinical Service Managers, Laboratory Services and Infection Prevention. Including leadership development, accountability and support.Responsible, with the Chief Nursing Executive, for all nursing operations results for all inpatient, partial, and residential programs with HRS.Create and develop short and long range goals and objectives and plan activities to meet these goalsHold assigned staff accountable for the actualization of strategies, plans and budgetsWhat Does This Role Require?
Education/Experience:
Master's Degree in Nursing5 years' experience in Nursing Management; Clinical Experience in Mental Health also requiredBenefits:
